Our wedding at Grandfather Mountain's Highland Games went beautifully... it was perfection... magical! The greatest wedding a girl could ask for.
A few days honeymooning in the cool NC mountains were refreshing and relaxing. A perfect time!
We've been back home now for a little over two weeks and it's still hard to come down from the mountains... to get my mind wrapped around reality... to get "back to business." I've been back at my day job, but everything is more or less laid out for me there, I just have to "fill in the blanks" and move forward day to day.
Getting my head wrapped around soapmaking and festivals and craft fairs and farmer's markets is another story... my motivation has slowed down considerably... I need motivation!
I bought two dozen silicon cupcake molds yesterday at Michaels and hope they will jump start me into making more cupcake soaps... I do love to make those! And the whipped soap frosting is fun to make... this time I think I want to "frost" my cupcakes in a dark chocolate scented with??? peppermint? orange? not sure yet...
I guess what I need to do is firm up a festival date so I have a deadline... I'm in the newspaper business... I work best with a deadline!
C'mon motivation... kick in!!!!!
